These are some of the questions I have been trying to answer for the last twenty years.
As artists and designers - creative inquirers - we will use visual metaphors and
analogies, like "squaring the circle", to help us identify questions and articulate problems.
Although these questions may ultimately be insoluble, in struggling with them we
engage in a kind of alchemy, and the search for iron will sometimes lead to gold:
